FAQ

BURN YOUR CANDLE SAFELY

Place on a heat and stain resistant surface.  Extinguish after 2 hours and allow to cool. Before relighting, to reduce the possibility of smoking or sooting, if flame smokes, extinguish and trim wick. Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire, like loose papers, fabric, bedding, books, drapes, decorations, etc.  Avoid use near vents and drafty areas.  If you’ve created a large wax pool during your burn, blow it out gently to avoid wax splattering.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep lit candle in sight at all times!

Wicks burn best when at a very short height. (1/8") After your first burn, use a pair of scissors or wick trimmer to trim the wick to the right length, ensuring a steady, ash-free flame.

We recommend burning for no more than three to four hours at a time. And, when you get towards the end don’t burn all the way down: swap your candle for a new one when ½ inch of wax remains.
